Youhorse.auction’s Valentine’s sale makes hearts beat faster
The Dutch Youhorse.auction provided buyers from all over the world with the perfect Valentine’s match on Tuesday, February 4. Cupid’s arrow hit the mark especially in the United Kingdom, where no fewer than six horses were sold.
Organizer Mario Everse is pleased with the auction results: "Although there were no extreme outliers, we can confidently say that many buyers secured excellent deals; horses they will undoubtedly enjoy immensely. This edition once again confirms the growing international interest in our platform and the trust we have built with both buyers and sellers."
The global appeal of Youhorse.auction was once again evident on Tuesday. Winning bids came from buyers in the United Kingdom (6), the Netherlands (6), France (5), Germany (5), the United States (4), Belgium (4) and Spain (4).
The highest sale price of the evening was for the seven-year-old gelding Nandorado H&H (Grandorado TN x Cantos), which was sold to Sweden for €26,000.
The nine-year-old Bennit H (Brantzau x Quidam de Revel), with 1.40m level showjumping experience, caught the eye of buyers from Saudi Arabia, who bid €24,000.
Additionally, the five-year-old mare Pakarie (Zambesi x Corland) was sold to buyers in the United Kingdom for €20,000. The five-year-old gelding Ur My Man EH (Caracas x Kannan), bred out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Kismet 50, was sold to Spain. The American market also made strong purchases, including the five-year-old Scampi (Soundcheck x Lordanos).
The seven-year-old gelding Nelson (Zambesi x Guidam Sohn) will be making the journey to Mexico.
March 4: A mix of sport & breeding
The next Youhorse.auction is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4. This edition will feature a dynamic mix of sport horses and breeding prospects, offering something for everyone.
