Youhorse.auction concludes second evening with strong results
The 'Early Spring Edition' of Youhorse.auction wrapped up in style on Wednesday, March 5, with a successful second auction night. Over the course of two days, nearly 100 horses were auctioned off, with buyers taking their new acquisitions to all corners of the world.
Organizer Mario Everse looks back with satisfaction: "This edition was a great success. Thanks to the number of talented horses we were able to select, we decided to spread the auction over two evenings. The interestingly bred horses with experience under saddle were the most in demand, but there was also a lot of interest in the younger jumping talents and broodmares. It’s fantastic that some customers even managed to secure multiple horses! We are proud of the trust buyers place in our auction.”
Just like on Tuesday evening, a five-year-old gelding stole the show. This time, the honor went to Paco Fan Skülenboarch (Emir R x Zapatero VDL), who was sold to Poland for an impressive €32,000. Two horses will go to the same stable in the Emirates.
The six-year-old Outsider (Glasgow vh Merelsnest x Padinus), sold for €28,000, will be joined by the seven-year-old Nixandor A Z (Nixon van ’t Meulenhof x Zandor Z), who changed hands for €24,000. The seven-year-old Lardento de Mies (Lux Z x Cardento) was purchased by buyers from Turkey for €22,000, while the six-year-old mare Clara (Clarimo x Caretino) heads to the United States for the same price.
The auction was also a success for the younger horses, who showcased their talent in loose jumping. The four-year-old Radetsky PH (Grandorado TN x Zambesi) received a bid of €18,000 from Denmark, while the two-year-old stallion Darryl Z (Darry Lou x Stakkato) is heading to Canada for the same amount.
With buyers from, for example, the United States, Poland, Turkey and Canada, the Early Spring Edition demonstrated the global reach of Youhorse.auction. Following the trend of the first evening, Spain once again led the way on Wednesday. A total of thirteen horses are headed south.
