Why are we even running CCI5* Maryland?
There are only seven 5-star eventing competitions in the world. Badminton and Burghley (GBR), Lexington (USA), Luhmühlen (GER), Adelaide (AUS), Pau (FRA) and Fair Hill (USA).
I asked this question before. Why are we even running the MARS Maryland CCI5*-L? At Military Boekelo CCI4*-L in the Netherlands the other week there were close to an even 100 combinations taking on the mud fiesta of a cross country course.
At Fair Hill Maryland there were 23.
TWENTY THREE combinations competing on the highest level of the eventing sport. What a joke!
