One year older already!

Anyhow, today was the first day I was really out and about with horses for a long time. Kind of weird though since I have plenty of my own, and horsey business have been my business for so many years.

One year older already!

I cannot believe how time flies. The fact my puppy horses officially hit 2, 3 and 4 years of age already, is somewhat surreal! Also surreal was the month of December. It came with personal twists and turns I could never have imagined, and when people close to ones self get seriously ill. One really come to realise what matters in life.

For 2025 I have big plans, not only for myself but also for my horses. The three year old needs to be broken in. Typing just that, broken in, I cannot but wonder if that is even a political way to put it these days. I bet someone out there have things to say about this kind of phrasing. Me on the other hand would not know how to express it in another way. If you [dear reader] do, please feel free to share in the comment section.

But after all the drama in December, today was a good day!

First of all, I got to hang out with one of my favourite two legged friends, and also got to see some really nice horses and ponies.

When I came home my BFF from back home [yes, je suis expat] sent me a Whatsapp with a photo of her daughter kissing my, I presume, now late pony.

I loved that little guy more than life itself, and will never ever get over, nor forgive myself, for giving him up - read selling him.

Which is also the reason I am so happy I managed to find such great forever homes for my breeding mares when deciding to quit breeding last year. Even though giving up on the horse breeding business I now find myself scouting for stallions.

Mixing and matching those bloodlines on the virtual foal functionality HorseTelex while thinking and dreaming of breeding my three year old..
